NFA Leader Against Pain-Advocate
Well we are now in a new year – 2008 – I am struggling to make headway with the book and hoping to publish before the summer. Unfortunately I have been indisposed for three months after a fall and confined to bed rest and crutches. It was difficult to think about much else other than the pain and frustration. But I am now back on course, the proverbial light is switched on at the end of the tunnel and I am looking forward to publishing.
Financing the book, after being badly let down by a drug company who promised to fund the first 500 books, has been a challenge and we are not out of the wood yet. While I have been busy writing begging letters of course prices have increased. But I have been offered help from two very different sources and I am sure with their commitment to publishing the book, we will have enough money to start the presses rolling.
The first very ambitious offer has come from Michelle Robertson-Jones, an angel therapist, who had agreed to write a chapter in the book about angel healing. Michelle has a lovely website called www dot sancturaryofangels dot co dot uk and she has offered to teach during an Angel Experience Day to raise money for the “publish-it fund”.
Her website will give you a full description of the events of that day which is scheduled for Monday April 21 2008 – the prestigious venue is to be confirmed – but it will be in West Sussex, UK, with accommodation available nearby if required. I am told Michelle has clients who fly in from Russia to attend her special days.
Suffice to say if you join us you will meet your Guardian Angel and take a few magical steps, which may change your life. The day will awaken your natural physic abilities.
Someone from the Isle of Man who attended one of Michelle’s wonderful experiences has said, “After 50 years my eyes are finally opened. Thank you for the part you played in making me realise I can tune into Angels and communicate with my own Guardian Angel. With his knowledge I can begin a journey of discovery!”
If this appeals to you and you would like to share the Angel Experience please write to me and send me a comment and I will give you more details as they become available. Places are limited to just 40.
The second ambitious fund raising event to get the fibromyalgia self help book out there on books shelves and in the hands of those who need it, is a Haunted House event with Ighosthunter, a paranormal researcher. We met quite by accident and she suffers chronic long term pain from a serious back condition. One thing lead to another and she offered to help with the book.
This will entail spending the night in a haunted house from about midnight until about 4am, with torches, blankets, tucker, hot drinks, and something to steady your nerves, with Ighosthunter and her team. We do not have a date or a venue yet but again if you are interested, send me a comment with your email address.
Who would have believed that something as mundane as fund raising to publish a book about chronic pain, would lead to such diverse and interesting things. I can only say I am thrilled and delighted that Michelle and Ighosthunter have offered to help me. I think my own Guardian Angel is doing a bit to help too. Thank you ladies and I am really looking forward to the experiences.
Talk again soon. Jeanne
